Oriental Strings is a comprehensive sound module application designed for oriental keyboard enthusiasts and musicians seeking to infuse their compositions with the distinctive sounds of the Orient and Middle East. The app allows you to connect an external MIDI keyboard to your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch using Bluetooth MIDI or by utilizing Apple's USB camera adapter or any other compatible adapter approved by Apple. Encompassing a range of string instruments synonymous with the Arabian genre, the app features distinct offerings such as the Chinese erhu alongside traditional Western string instruments. Noteworthy is the unique quality imparted to these Western instruments due to the musicians' specialization in oriental music, resulting in a distinctive sonic character.
